Pretty (im)perfect Peonies

So. I bought my first peonies of the season. I so love this flower; it’s smell, it’s shape, it’s colour. Just everything. It’s perfect. But something went wrong, they did not flourish much. Too bad, but let’s not be sad. I think there is beauty everywhere. Even in not flourished peonies. If only you want to see it. Please judge for yourself.

Oh to add a little drama I used my broken Lenneke Wispelwey vase. Killed by little boys hands. And so it happens, the boys just love tearing up all the petals of the peonies :-)
