Today, it’s been exactly one month since we got home from our three week holiday in France. A good moment to reflect. It has been good. Very good. Great weather, with the best company and a beautiful environment. I know this sounds perfect and let’s be honest not all days were great. Just like real life. But I tend to remember the good things :-)

For the past two years, my dear friend Erik and I have our ‘Cultural Sundays’. About every 3 months one of us will look for an exhibtion, museum or whatever to visit and it’s a surprise for the other one. We both absolutely love it :-)
Anyway, a couple of Sundays ago it was Eriks turn to choose and he opted for the exhibition Ode aan de Nederlandse mode (ode to Dutch fashion) in Gemeentemuseum Den Haag. Men oh men, how I love this building! The exhibtion was beautiful, but not something I wanted to take photos of. I did want to take some photos of the strong lines of this building…
For our final week, we exchanged the coast for the Midlands below Paris. We ‘glamped’ at this lovely camping in a beautiful, well equiped tent, below some huge trees. This made a perfect combination with the hot weather. We wanted to go often to Paris, but have only be going once. We just got so relaxed that we just left it that way.
Some words to mark this week are: Paris, Eiffel Tower, Sacre Coeur, strolling through Montmartre, loads of icecreams (no photo’s, was just eating), castles and gardens, swimming pool, nature, merry-go-rounds, sunny weather and some more, precious family time.
